Player's agent sparks concern at Tottenham by leaving exit door open
By Manuel Meza
An agent for a Tottenham Hotspur player has raised concerns by not ruling out a move away from the club due to his client’s lack of playing time.
It’s tough to get minutes when you’re competing with one of Europe’s best defensive partnerships, and that’s the case for Spurs defender Radu Dragusin.
The 22-year-old Romanian centre-back has to share game time with two of the world’s top defenders at the moment: Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero.
Naturally, the lack of minutes isn’t the ideal situation for him, and his agent has made this clear, although it’s evident that a departure would be a desperate measure at this point.

Radu Dragusin's future at Tottenham Hotspur remains shrouded in uncertainty, largely due to comments from his agent, Florin Manea.
After joining Spurs, Dragusin has found himself in the spotlight, but the whispers of potential transfers have left many Tottenham fans feeling uneasy.
Manea has a knack for creating a bit of drama when it comes to Dragusin’s future, frequently dropping hints about potential moves that have made fans sit up and take notice.
His mention of Bayern Munich shortly after Dragusin’s signing generated significant outrage among the Tottenham faithful, who were keen to see the 22-year-old focus solely on his new club.
The agent's tendency to hint at transfers, even after his client’s recent arrival, has only intensified the speculation surrounding Dragusin.
In a recent interview with Calcio Napoli 24, Manea addressed the swirling rumours, stating that while no clubs have made concrete offers for Dragusin, the player's dissatisfaction with his current situation at Tottenham cannot be ignored.
He acknowledged that a lack of playing time is troubling for any player, and Dragusin is no exception. The young defender’s eagerness to contribute to the team is evident, but Manea’s comments leave fans wondering about his long-term commitment to the club.
Despite emphasising that Dragusin wants to fight for his place in the Spurs lineup, Manea refrained from ruling out future moves entirely.
He suggested that the player's situation would largely depend on his game time throughout the season. "No player is happy if he doesn’t play a lot, but he wants to fight for his place," Manea said.
While he did try to reassure fans by saying he hasn’t been chatting with other clubs, the simple fact that he’s left the door open for a move puts a bit of pressure.
