Tottenham Hotspur player ratings from 2-1 win against Fulham

Tottenham Forward Ratings
After making changes in the defense and the midfield, Conte went for it and altered Spurs’ front three. The introduction of Richarlison on the right changed the approach slightly as the three forwards looked to connect more centrally in the attack.
Left-forward – Heung-min Son – 7
Perhaps the player who some thought might start from the bench, the defending Golden Boot winner, was looking for his first against the Cottagers. Son looked sure to score with his best 45–minutes this season in the first half. Son was unlucky, hitting the crossbar and having a goal ruled out with Kane in an offside position. His interchange and running were problematic all day for Fulham. Son continued to press, but Leno was game as the South Korean still waits for his first goal of the season.
Center-forward – Harry Kane – 7
Having already moved up the rankings of the Premier League scoring charts twice this season, Harry Kane continued his hot start against Fulham. Kane was making chances for himself and others in the first half. Twice, our talisman was able to post up near the top of the box to create a goal-scoring opportunity. First, Kane turned and struck just wide of the goal, and the second time, he chipped in Son, who hit the crossbar. In the second half, Kane struck paydirt, with an easy finish off a Sessegnon pass for the 2-0 lead. The goal was Kane’s 188th in the League, breaking his tie with Andrew Cole, leaving Kane in sole possession of third, 20 back of Wayne Rooney, who has 208.
Right-forward – Richarlison – 8
Richarlison started for Spurs for the first time in a surprise move against Fulham. The surprise was not so much Richarlison starting but rather that he began for Dejan Kulusevski. However, giving a young player like Kulusevski some rest to come off the bench is a good idea considering his age. Richarlison was up for the challenge, running hard on and off the ball and working to combine with his teammates at every opportunity. Perhaps pressing a bit for a big moment, Richarlison was close on many occasions. His touch back to Hojbjerg in the box on a give-and-go was perfect for his first Tottenham assist, giving Spurs the 1-0 lead. Richarlison continued to work and was only denied the perfect start and a worldie of a goal by the post, and later a VAR offsides call in the 90th minute.
