Tottenham Starting Forwards

With the return of Tottenham talisman Harry Kane, it means that someone from what has been an effective front three is going to have to go to the bench. While not quite the same as when Kane replaced him in the Champions League final, it is likely that person is going to be Lucas Moura.

Left-wing: Steven Bergwijn

It might make the most sense for Heung-Min Son to go back to the left and Lucas to stay in on the right, however, Bergwijn and Son provide the best options for either side of Kane right now. Lucas played a big role midweek, whereas Bergwijn and Son both go spot minutes. Stevie has had a nice start to the season as he has made some highlights and been a willing runner. However, that final ball has been illuding him thus far and he needs to find it soon or Bryan will come to take his job.

Center forward: Harry Kane

After scoring two goals midweek Harry Kane is back in the team and back in the goals. It would be very surprising for Kane not to start on Sunday having earned his spot back in the team with the midweek performance and a couple of weeks of practice. Kane coming in and Lucas – or Bergwijn – going to the bench is not a shock and easy enough to understand. Kane had a similar freedom midweek against Pacos as he did last season and he was pinging the ball all over the park. With Son and Bergwijn as targets expect more of that Sunday from Kane,  that and maybe a goal or two.

Right-wing: Heung-Min Son

The reality is that over the course of the game Bergwijn and Heung-Min Son are likely to change sides multiple times. However, until another right-wing emerges, Son really is the best one Tottenham has. With the ability to go right and use his primary foot to get some service into the box and the ability to cut in and take a shot with his strong left foot, Son is a dynamic weapon anywhere on the pitch but especially on the right. After coming close midweek, expect Son to get in the goals on Sunday.
