Tottenham v Dinamo Europa League Prediction

The match on Thursday is going to be a tight match or at least tighter than most Tottenham fans will want it to be. Ultimately, despite all the players that can score for Dinamo, Tottenham should be too strong for the Bulldogs, particularly in London.

Dinamo is a strong road team and should put up a good defensive wall, making it difficult but not impossible to score. With the Spurs being the Spurs, once they are up by two or maybe it is three they are likely to take their foot off the gas a bit and as a result, concede an away goal they really do not want to concede.

A 3-1 win over a team that has not lost in the competition is in some ways convincing. However, with only a two-goal lead and with Dinamo then having an away goal in hand, Tottenham will be forced to take everyone on the road trip to Croatia next week. While not everyone will necessarily play, it will be an air fight, some folks would rather avoid.

On the other hand, if the Lilywhites can maintain their focus and avoid losing concentration – particularly in the few minutes just before and after half-time – they can run away with this game. More importantly, Spurs could take a commanding lead to Croatia next week, leaving Kane and a couple of others in London.

Either way, we expect Tottenham to win the question is just how much new maturity the team has found. We will know by the end of the game if it is a lot or a little or god forbid none at all but that is not a result we are expecting.
