Preview of Tottenham vs Burnley Premier League Battle

Preview and Prediction
Tottenham Hotspur really need this match even more so than 15th placed Burnley if that is at all conceivable. Spurs have both points and teams between themselves and the top four places they seek. This recent run of losses means the margin for error is non-existent, and Tottenham must win to stay in the race.
With the growing need to perform in League as well as the idea of three games in eight days, maybe the biggest thing to come out of the Europa League win was the rest for core players. Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son did not play at all. Tanguy Ndombele and Pierre-Emile Hujbjerg – the starting holding midfield – only played about 15 minutes each at the end.
With some rest and the known importance of this fixture, Tottenham come out strong. Frankly, we know Spurs cannot afford to fall behind, particularly against a team that has only conceded 30 goals, which is top 10 in the league. It is in the goal scoring department where Burnley have really struggled, so Tottenham scoring first is imperative.
Expect to see at least three of the players playing together we have all been waiting for as Gareth Bale will finally start for Tottenham and play in a front three with Kane and Son. Those three should be flying and be able to break down Burnley.
After an early goal as Burnley gets stretched, Spurs find space for a couple more to kill the match. Ultimately, Tottenham does what only a few teams have done against Burnley and put up a crooked number in a 3-0 win.
