Forwards and subs

Lucas Moura 5/10

I haven’t seen Lucas at his best since Jose moved him up front as the lone striker. Lucas worked tirelessly but didn’t create any chances. He had one golden opportunity, but headed Davies’ cross well over from close range.

Steven Bergwijn 6/10

The newbie did his utmost to impact proceedings. He almost scored in the first half and had a couple of half chances in the second. It was a tough evening for him, as Spurs were on the back foot for most of the encounter.

Erik Lamela 8/10

Erik Lamela had a major impact on the game after being brought on. Lively, energetic and intense, the Argentine totally changed the complexion. He almost scored from a free kick and was responsible for spearheading Spurs late revival.

Tanguy Ndombele 7/10

Tanguy also put his best foot forward after being introduced. He surged forward with a few mazy runs and pushed the tempo for the home side. Let’s see if that cameo was enough to get him a starting nod on the weekend at the Bridge.
