Midfielders

Moussa Sissoko 5.5/10

Moussa had a rather uneventful match. After Tanguy was withdrawn, Moussa was responsible for most of Spurs midfield defending. He did that quite well but was a ghost otherwise. It’s not exactly his best position, but Sissoko didn’t really step a foot wrong. However, he didn’t dominant either.

Tanguy Ndombele 5/10

Withdrawn early due to what looked like a groin injury, Tanguy Ndombele is struggling to cope with the relentless action in the Premier League over the festive period. He was good on the swivel but often overplays, veering away from the simple ball. Though passing options weren’t exactly plentiful.

Christian Eriksen 2/10

Absolutely shocking performance from the Dane. Unable to dictate proceedings, Eriksen was snuffed completely out by Southampton’s midfield. His passing accuracy also left a lot to be desired. The Dane couldn’t connect on a golden opportunity to play Kane through.
