Five reasons why Tottenham can win the Champions League

I can’t express how good it feels for Spurs to be fighting fit. Alderweireld, Winks and Rose returned against Newport in the FA Cup fourth round replay win. Alderweireld, unquestionably the most important injury returnee, is a shoo-in to take his rightful place in his team’s rearguard against Juventus on Tuesday.
Winks and Rose must be satisfied with roles in the supporting cast, both of whom offer Pochettino exquisite backup options in their respective positions. Lamela and Wanyama are both in the running for first-team selection after impressing in recent weeks, offering the gaffer a stockpile of dangerous munitions to call upon.
Spurs can no longer be considered a shallow, 11-man team. They have depth in spades, with competent reserves at every discernible position waiting for their chance to climb up the pecking order.
