As I’m sure you’re all aware by now, the 2017-18 Premier League schedule has been released so it’s time to start marking key fixture dates on that trusty calendar of yours.

Tottenham’s full schedule is seen below but we also wanted to shed some light on some of the fixtures all Spurs supporters will be most nervous, excited and anxious about.

Here’s a dynamic snapshot of Tottenham’s fixture list. Feel free to click on a particular match, which will stop the graphic in its tracks, on the chosen game.

North London derbies

The first north London derby takes place away from home, at the Emirates on November 18. The Gunners then head to Wembley on February 10 for the return fixture. Spurs took four points from Arsenal in the 2016-17 season, which included a 2-0 win at White Hart Lane, a match that ensured Spurs would finish ahead of Arsenal for the first time in over 20 years.

Opening day

Tottenham travel to newly promoted Newcastle United on Aug. 13, a somewhat unnerving proposition for opening day.

It’s not scary because Newcastle have the talent to beat Tottenham, but Spurs last trip to St James’ Park did not start, or end, well. The Lilywhites also have a tendency of starting slowly, something they must eradicate this season to challenge for the title. I have no doubt Pochettino will have his men ready this year to dissuade such anxiety.

London Derbies

London derbies are better than Christmas, New Year’s and every other holiday combined. Spurs welcome Chelsea to Wembley on match day 2 and look forward to a mouth-watering contest at Wembley against West Ham a day before New Year’s Eve.

Spurs will be out for vengeance and revenge after the Hammers won 1-0 at London Stadium toward the end of last season, all but ending Tottenham’s title hopes.

Other high-profile matches

Spurs host Liverpool on Oct. 21 before travelling to Old Trafford to play Manchester United in the very next fixture, on Oct. 28.

Sour tastes resurface when Spurs think back to October last year, a five-week period that arguably cost Spurs the title. Tottenham failed to win in five straight away matches at the correlating time last season. These two matches could prove pivotal.

Is there a particular match you’re looking forward to most, or are they all as important? Where will the season be won or lost and what is the main factor in Spurs’ title aspirations.
