Congratulations for Soldado [Photo: Alan Hill]We just about deserved the win but it wasn’t a great performance. Perhaps understandably after Thursday night’s exertions against Dnipro. Cardiff did not look to be a genuine threat at the point of their attack, despite being quite competent in the build-up. Their goalie was impressive the few times he was tested. The repeated theme of the game was that we would give the ball away but instead of making the most of it, they would give it back and invite us back on to them. That would result at best in a shot off target. Again and again.  A better, more confident team would have put us to the sword, rather than giving the ball back.
