It is not looking good for the Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool matches unless we raise our game considerably. Then again, stranger things have happened. Thursday was a good reminder. Never give up until the fat lady sings. Sorry, it’s that opera connection still playing on my mind.

Thankfully, the combined body heat of the capacity crowd meant that we did not feel the cold during the game. I even took my beanie hat off. The cold really hit us the moment we stepped out of the ground. The light rain was blowing in the air like snow. Thank God we were parked just outside. Adrian and Fran showed up back from the opera just as the car park was emptying.
