Djed Spence is making a strong case to start as a LB

Djed Spence was nominated man of the match for his Premier League performance against United, which is no surprise for anyone who has followed his recent track record at Spurs. The young right-back (or left-back?) has displayed tremendously in this match, particularly with his runs and overlaps in the left flank. His defensive performance was also on-point, as the Red Devils hardly created on his side.
Spurs have struggled in these past few matches, but Spence, despite all odds, has been a breath of fresh air. Even against Liverpool at the FA Cup, where Spurs performed way below standards, the young Englishman was everywhere on the pitch and one of the few who put in an effort to get Spurs back into the game.
From renegade status to a valuable asset to Ange, Spence's comeback story has been very unexpected but brilliant. Destiny Udogie and even Pedro Porro should keep their eyes open because Djed is making his case for a starting role.
