Hotspur roundup: Transfer SZN is finally upon us!

Now that Transfer SZN is finally in full swing across the Premier League, it's time for Spurs to turn up the pressure on the rest of the league. Who will be a part of manager Ange Postecoglou's long-term project by August 30th?

Have Spurs located a new striker?

One of the key areas of emphasis this summer will be the addition of at least one new attacker, preferably at striker to team up with Richarlison. A good number of Spanish outlets are saying that Sevilla's Youssef En-Nesyri is eager to join up with Big Ange's squad.

An interesting wrinkle of this potential deal is the inclusion of Bryan Gil, the Spanish international who would jump at the chance to return to Sevilla. The young attacker hasn't adapted well to the physicality of the Premier League and would likely get back on track in a return to La Liga. If Tottenham can include Gil in a deal for En-Nesyri, and Ange signs off on it, then it wouldn't be a bad decision that could benefit the club long term. Truth Meter: 6/10.
