Con 1 - Yves Bissouma failing to capitalise on promising start to the season

The old age cliche "like a new signing" was frequently used to describe Bissouma in the early parts of the season. However, in October, Bissouma got a first half red card against Luton after being given a second yellow card for simulation. He was never quite the same afterwards.

A mid-season Africa Cup Of Nations didn't help things, but it cannot be the only thing attributed to Bissouma's struggles. He went into the tournament having not played in a month because he got another red card, this time against Nottingham Forest.

It's important Bissouma puts his struggles behind him and prepares well for the season with a strong pre-season. We saw what he could do with his form in the first two months of the season, it's up to him to bring that back.
