Pro 1 - The resurgence of Heung Min-Son

Following the idle nature of captain Hugo Lloris' Spurs career, and the depature of vice-captain Harry Kane, Heung Min-Son was made the new captain of Spurs, despite an underwhelming 22/23 season.

The South Korean forward never looked back. In the 22/23 season, Sonny scored 10 goals, provided 6 assists and created 8 big chances. This season, he scored 17 goals, provided 10 assists and created 20 big chances, whilst playing one game fewer (SofaScore).

He looked to be enjoying his game again, taking the added responsibility of being captain in his stride. His club season was interrupted by a gruelling mid-season Asian games with his country, and although his form after the tournament wasn't quite as good, he was still fairly productive.
