Rodrigo Bentancur (7/10) – Bentancur compensated for his previous matches below standards with a great number 6 performance. Both reliable on the build-up and out of possession, the Uruguayan looked like a more interested and engaged version of himself in this match, which is always good news for Spurs.

Lucas Bergvall (7/10) – Bergvall had an outstanding first half. With the ball, he escaped the pressure effectively while offensively contributing with a shot that turned out to be Spurs' goal. Out of possession, he showcased a lot of discipline, mainly covering Porro when the Spaniard went up with the press.

James Maddison (9/10) – James Maddison ran the show while he was on the pitch. The Englishman turned on his maestro mode and dictated Spurs to victory with his goal and brilliant passes. He likely left at the 65th minute as a precaution, but that version of James is the one every Spurs wishes to watch in every match.
