5) AJ Tracey

Perhaps the most real celebrity fan of them all. Not to say any of the aforementioned names fall into this category, particularly not Nash with the example above, but some celebrities most certainly feel like fair weather fans. “See the match?” types. There will be plenty of those that could not tell you that Galatasaray are the club’s next European opponent.

You can just tell AJ’s love for Spurs is truly authentic. The way he posts about the club on social media, his love for the likes of Son. It’s very real. In his song “false 9” the lyrics include: “I used to hold up the line like Puyol, bet you thought I was gonna say Dier”, a reference to a (then) Spurs player. Plus “I'm a midfield maestro like Eri [Christian Eriksen], bet you thought I was gonna say Modrić.” A reference to a (then) current Spurs player, and a former player.

It also included the lyrics “I got tech like Onomah” referring to former Spurs academy player Josh Onomah, and “five star skills, get twist like “Oduwa”, referencing Nathan Oduwa. There is no way every celebrity fan would be able to tell you both of those players — especially Oduwa.

Other celebrity fans include: actors Sir Kenneth Branagh and Mark Wahlberg, newsreader Sir Trevor McDonald, comedian Michael McIntyre, and actor, wrestler and public figure John Cena. 17-time grammy winner Kendrick Lamar has famously worn a Spurs shirt, but it is unconfirmed whether or not he is actually a genuine fan of the club.,
