Liverpool legend takes dig at Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou

A Liverpool legend has fired a dig at Ange Postecoglou. He has claimed that Tottenham might not win the title under his management.
Tottenham Hotspur fell to another disappointing result in the Premier League at the weekend. They were beaten by Crystal Palace in a frustrating performance, with Spurs lacking any conviction.
Naturally, then, the spotlight has fallen on Ange Postecoglou. This season, he is a man under pressure as Spurs fans are in dire need of silverware. Admittedly, he has started the season poorly.
Tottenham Hotspur is currently 8th in the Premier League. They are playing well in the Europa League but their league form is incredibly inconsistent. This was shown yet again at the weekend with another poor loss.

Liverpool legend Michael Owen has now claimed that Tottenham are unlikely to win the Premier League with Ange Postecoglou in his current state. This is because he's one-dimensional, which is not suited to winning the Premier League.
In his own words (via Wide World of Sports), Michael Owen said: "From the way [Postecoglou] plays, and whether he can go and win a Premier League, there is a split, I think fans, pundits, etcetera doubt whether you can be that open, that expansive and that one-dimensional to go and win a league. When I say one-dimensional, I don't mean the way they play - I mean it's this way or not."
The main criticism of Ange Postecoglou is, without a doubt, his stubbornness. While some might see it as a strength, the more that time goes on without him altering his playing style, the more teams are figuring out Tottenham in the Premier League.
The common theme of Premier League champions in the past is that the teams have been set up multidimensionally. This is especially the case with Man City but this was the case even before they started to dominate the English top flight.
The truth is that Premier League teams are very fast to discover a manager's strengths and weaknesses. It looks like most Premier League teams have discovered exactly what Ange Postecoglou is about and so they set up with an approach to counteract his tactics.
Going forward, Ange Postecoglou must swallow his pride. He cannot win the Premier League with a "my way or the highway" approach. It's a common and repeated rhetoric for a reason, after all.
