Tottenham Hotspur youngster to sign contract in next 24 hours

Mikey Moore will put pen to paper in the next 24 hours, pledging his allegiance to Tottenham and putting rumours of his possible exit from the club to bed.
The 15-year-old has created a whirlwind of media attention in the past 48 hours. Seen as Tottenham’s best young talent, Moore was being pursued by some of Europe’s top clubs.
Moore will sign a contract that sees him move from scholarship to schoolboy forms, followed by a professional contract once he turns 17. The agreement will keep him in north London until he turns 18 years old.
But Tottenham will see this as the first contract of many, as they’ll be keen to keep the youngster long past the expiration of this three-year deal. Of course, that will depend on how he progresses and develops.
If all goes according to plan, Moore has the raw talent and boundless potential to become a first-team starter on the senior team.
However, like any youngster of such an impressionable age, a lot has to happen for that to come to fruition.
Regardless of what happens in the future, keeping Moore is being dubbed as a “coup” for Tottenham, who repelled the advances of some of Europe’s juggernauts.
Few Tottenham supporters have had the pleasure of seeing Moore play live, but that will surely change now that he’s been sprung into the media spotlight.
Moore was part of trophy-winning teams at Under-17 and Under-18 levels last season while featuring for the Under-19s in the UEFA Youth League.
He made 10 Under-18 Premier League appearances in 2022-23, scoring three times and assisting four.
The attacking left midfielder has also made 10 international caps, three for the Under-15 and seven for the Under-16s.
