Midfield

Pedro Porro 9/10

The Spanish midfielder enjoyed an outstanding afternoon Elland Road. His goal at the start of the second half was struck with pure venom. The powerful drive was matched by pinpoint accuracy into the bottom left corner.

Porro also buoyed Spurs from kick off with some proactive play down the line. He beat Pascal Struijk to the ball and played it quickly to Son Heung-min, who found Harry Kane for the opener just two minutes in. It was arguably the Spaniards best match of his opening campaign at Spurs.

Porro placed an emphatic stamp on his performance with an assist on Kane’s second of the afternoon.

Oliver Skipp 7/10

Like his central midfield partner, Oliver Skipp has endured a challenging campaign due largely to a rash of injuries over the past two seasons. He was at his tenacious best today but also kept possession well. For the most part, he made the right decisions.

Skipp coughed up possession a few times, but none of his errors led to any dangerous Leeds attacks.

Son Heung-min 6.5/10

Sonny will always run at defenders, regardless of the form he’s in. He was dispossessed quite frequently but also created the opening goal with quick thinking and an intelligent pass to Kane, who buried the offering with aplomb.

The Korean will be happy to see the back of this season and will look for to a fresh lease on life when pre-season training starts.

Yves Bissouma 7/10

Yves Bissouma saw a lot of the ball in the first half and, for the most part, looked comfortable in possession. He endured a momentary lapse or two but will be content with the final match of his otherwise injury-riddled season.
