3. Luis Enrique

Luis Enrique has the most impressive CV of all the candidates, at least regarding trophies. He won the treble with Barcelona in 2014-15 and also managed Spain at Euro 2020 and Qatar 2022.

Qatar 2022 didn’t go according to plan, but Enrique demands his sides press high and dominate possession, particularly in the opposing half.

Spain bossed the ball throughout Qatar 2022 but, at times, lacked ruthlessness and struggled to make the possession count. While a strong candidate, it’s highly unlikely Enrique will want the Tottenham job, especially with so much other interest.

PSG and Napoli are both reportedly courting the former Spain boss, so don’t expect talks with Tottenham to get off the basement floor.

Based on the recent failures of Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho, Levy will also be hesitant about hiring such a headstrong manager who boasts an impressive trophy cabinet.
