How Conte approaches, the game may be a function of what players are available.

Question 2 – Who is ready to play for Tottenham?

Several players were injured in the Motherwell match, including Ryan Sessegnon, Emerson Royal, and Lucas Moura. Royal and Sessegnon seem to be participating during the most recent training session video, leading us to believe they will be available. Moura’s availability is less clear as he continues to battle long-term injury.

Just as some players were unavailable against Motherwell due to injury, a handful of players had just returned or were in the process of returning from the World Cup. Regulars Ben Davies, Pierre Hojbjerg, and Heung-min Son are all participating in practice and returning from international duty. Will they suit up for Spurs?

How many returning players are available, whether from injury or otherwise, will significantly impact the game and what to expect. Hopefully, everyone is back and ready, as Spurs have a significant run coming.

We know that Richarlison and Rodrigo Bentancur are unavailable due to injury. Harry Kane, Dier, Hugo Lloris, Romero, and Ivan Perisic have not returned from World cup duty. This leaves Spurs with a shorthand, which could be shorter if some expected returnees do not play.
