Three reasons Tottenham should start Bryan Gil against Bournemouth

Tottenham has struggled in attack with Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski out, but there is hope that Bryan Gil can help pick up the slack. Here are three reasons why Bryan should start against Bournemouth on Saturday for Spurs.
Over the last couple of weeks, as the games have continued to come fast and furious, it is evident that Tottenham Hotspur lacks the depth needed to compete with a game every three days. Injuries to attackers Kulusevski and Richarlison have left Spurs short-handed, as Lucas Moura is returning from his injury. Apparently, Gil does not have the complete confidence and faith of his head coach.
The only way Spurs will know if they should send Gil out on loan in January and bring another attacker in or stick with Gil is by playing the lad. Ideally, beginning with a start on Saturday at Bournemouth.
Beyond learning whether or not Gil is part of this season’s solution, here are three reasons Antonio Conte should start Bryan against Bournemouth.
Bryan has looked better than Moura for Tottenham
Sure Lucas is coming off a tendon injury, and he sometimes flashes. However, his appearance has not looked nearly as dangerous as Gil’s. Whereas Moura struggled to control the ball for much of the game against Sporting, Gil had the ball on a string and put it into dangerous places.
Gil had two key passes, surpassed only by three from Harry Kane, and Gil played less than 30 minutes, according to whoscored.com.
If we are talking about effectiveness, then Gil is the obvious choice over Moura, who still has some pace and can be a difference-maker off the bench, which is something Tottenham needs. However, Tottenham needs an injection of creativity and verve in the attack, which is something Bryan provides.
