Given that the Frenchman remains our record signing and is amongst the club’s highest-paid players, N’dombele looks the hardest to offload for Tottenham.

The midfielder spent the latter half of last season on loan at Lyon. However, he was unable to leave his mark on the side, evening failing to lock down a starting spot in the final weeks of the season.

Talk around N’dombele is concerningly scarce, and in truth, it’s hard to envision a natural suitor for the midfielder given his wage demands and presumed desire from Levy to recoup some kind of fee.

From a purely footballing perspective, a move to Bayern Munich could be an attractive choice for both club and player, as N’dombele’s expert dribbling and close control could see him thrive in the Bundesliga, whilst he represents a potential replacement for an aging Thomas Muller.

Unfortunately, this is nothing more than a pipe dream and an unrealistic one. So like it or not, it’s more than feasible regardless of Paratici’s best efforts; N’dombele will remain a Tottenham player next season.
