Fabio Paratici may have a war chest for transfers from Daniel Levy and ENIC, but if Tottenham has a successful window this summer, Spurs need to sell some players. Here are three players that need to leave N17.

Different players leave different clubs for various reasons, and all three of our players who need to move on have different reasons for leaving north London. The best move for each player and their respective careers is to exit N17 and find more opportunities elsewhere. We start our review with a loan that had a negligible impact.

Pierluigi Gollini we hardly knew you

It seems a foregone conclusion that Pierluigi Gollini will be leaving Tottenham Hotspur. The Italian goalkeeper was the first signing under Fabio Paratici and showed Spurs moving in a new direction for talent, Italy. While not all their signings came from the peninsula, several did, starting with Gollini.

If Gollini had played a lot this past season, that meant something went wrong. However, Hugo Lloris had a fantastic season, and Gollini did not make a single appearance in the Premier League. Gollini did play a lot in Europe and the Cups, featuring 10 of the 16 available games. The highlights for Gollini were his work in a 3-0 shutout of Pacos de Fereira in Conference League qualifying, and his save on Leander Dendoncker Spurs Carabao Cup victory over Wolverhampton in penalties.

With Lloris having a bounce-back campaign and Gollini too young to be a bench warmer, the Italian will not be back after his season on loan. Reports suggest Fraser Forster could be the new backup for Lloris, but a long-term successor is still needed, but it will not be Gollini.
