Tottenham’s first team basically picks itself at the moment. Of course that could change imminently, when Sessegnon, Reguilon and Skipp return to first team proceedings.

The future could see battles for positions in Conte’s first 11, but for now, expect the same team that thrashed Newcastle last weekend.

Forwards

Steven Bergwijn enjoyed a stellar cameo performance in the 5-1 victory, but, considering how brilliantly Dejan Kulusevski is playing, won’t come into the starting 11. Conte will be pleased to see his squad players putting the pressure on the first team, though there’s no disputing who starts up front on Saturday.

Kulu, Sonny and Kane have been the Premier League’s top trio in recent weeks, such is their ability to carve through opposing defences.

Midfield

Emerson Royal will start again on the right side and Matt Doherty on the left after yet another outstanding performance.

Doherty adapted seamlessly to playing in the more unfamiliar position. Other than Kane, the Irishman was Spurs’ standout player. Tottenham will need more performances like that from Doherty to secure fourth spot.

Rodrigo Bentancur is an elite addition to Tottenham’s team. He’s proven that since arriving from Juventus, continuously pulling the strings and conducting himself with equal parts composure and tenacity, precisely what Conte wanted when he joined the team.

Pierre Hojbjerg is a constant in the team and will join Bentancur in the heart of midfield.

Defence

The defence basically goes without saying. Cristian Romero is imperious and has taken control of the rearguard while Eric Dier and Ben Davies are playing some of the best football of their respective careers. It’s a treat to watch Tottenham’s backline command respect around the division.

There’s not a Spurs supporter out there who doesn’t know who starts in goal.
