Three main positives from Tottenham’s 5-0 win over Everton
By Gary Pearson
1. The front three have quickly developed formidable chemistry
Sonny, Kane and Kulu have developed a formidable chemistry in just a few weeks playing as a trio. It was Lucas Moura’s starting role just four matches ago. Yet in less than a month, Kulu has come in and stamped his authority on the starting team. The big, powerful Swede has complemented Kane and Sonny well, all of whom are quick, powerful, strong and tenacious.
Even without Moura in the team, they newly formed triumvirate still break with astounding speed. Since their first match as a trio — against Manchester City at the Etihad — Kulu, Kane and Sonny have scored nine goals between them. Aside from a minor blemish at Burnley — a match they had numerous chances to score — Kane, Kulu and Sonny have been unstoppable.
Kulu has taken extremely well to Premier League proceedings and will be sitting on pins and needles in anticipation of the ginormous match that awaits at Old Trafford this weekend. It will be interesting to see whether Kulu can achieve the improbable and dominate away against both Manchester clubs only a month after arriving on the Premier League scene.
