Five positives from 4-0 Tottenham Hotspur win over Leeds United

Tottenham Positive 5: Spurs kept a clean sheet
Avoiding the defensive gaffs certainly helped but getting a clean sheet was a considerable achievement. The last time Spurs got a shutout in any competition was back on New Year’s day when Tottenham won 1-0 over Watford.
Over the ten games between shutouts, Tottenham conceded 17 goals and lost six of those ten matches. With a coach who prides himself on defensive stability as the foundation of his team, it was no wonder Conte was losing his mind with this squad. Of course, a shutout over a struggling team does not mean much if Tottenham cannot build on that success.
Ultimately, these positives mean nothing if Spurs cannot capitalize on the momentum from a big win. If Tottenham can do that, something can still come of this season.
