Forwards and Subs
Dejan Kulusevski 6.5/10
Created bundles of chances and was lively throughout on the right wing. However, he just missed multiple times with the end product. The Swede missed narrowly when he tried to curl it into the far corner off a first-time attempt. If he scored or set up a goal, his rating would have been a 9/10. His final touch let him down on a blustery night in Burnley.
Harry Kane 7.5/10
Is the one player who can be relied on for consistent, unerring quality on the ball. Kane created a few chances and almost scored with a long range left-footed shot that narrowly missed. He also hit the bar off a header set up by Son Heung-min’s set piece. Arguably, he should have scored, though he was under a lot of duress.
Son Heung-min 6/10
Looked dangerous running directly at Burnley’s defence, but failed to have any threatening opportunities on goal.
Harry Winks 6/10
Had a few dangerous crosses and didn’t look out of place. competent but nothing outstanding from the Englishman.
Lucas Moura 4/10
Missed a half volley that needs to hit the target. Struggled to impact the match otherwise and was largely ineffective after being introduced.
Steven Bergwijn 6/10
Had a weak effort on goal from a dangerous position. Bergwijn couldn’t manage to wrap his foot around the ball. He was brought on fairly late and wasn’t able to impact the match otherwise.
