Tottenham Substitute and Coach Ratings

None of the Tottenham substitutes played much, as the first, Lucas Moura did not come oil the 80th minute, such as Spurs commitment to the gameplan.

Lucas Moura – N/A

He came on willing to run ultimately spent time clearing the ball away but was helpful.

Matt Doherty – N/A

He came on late for Royal and was solid defensively with a header to clear. His most significant moment was being pushed into Aymeric Laporte, but that was on City.

Davinson Sanchez – N/A

He came on in injury time just after the City had equalized and never touched the ball.

Antonio Conte – 10

The three-match losing streak hurt, but everything has been building to this moment. Spurs were clinical with the ball and could have had four or five goals with a bit of luck. They will not play this way that often but show they can be solid and compact. The cardio work Conte provides on the training ground showed off as Spurs got stronger as the match went on. Tottenham needs to build on this win.
