2. Lucas Moura

Lucas Moura has always been capable of otherworldly moments. In the past, Moura’s otherworldly moments have come all too sparingly. He’s now transformed into a beacon of consistency. The Brazilian is Tottenham’s second leading scorer since Conte arrived on the scene, and is consistently one of the side’s main attacking threats. He scored a wonder goal against Norwich and followed that long-distance missile with another against Palace a few weeks later.

The goal against Palace is the one that showcased how far Moura has come in recent months. Moura put his body on the line, climbed over Joachim Andersen like a spawning salmon to head home from close range. In that moment, Moura showcased the commitment, desire and dedication reflective of his impressive progression at the club. He is also one of Tottenham’s most valuable players this season, reinforcing his importance to Conte’s lineup.
