Harry Kane 7/10
England’s captain fashioned himself numerous chances and will be incredibly frustrated not to have found the winner. His missed chance in the first half — after Skipp’s smart intervention — was the one that got away. Kane has to finish those opportunities if Spurs have any chance of finishing in the top four. He worked hard and created havoc, but, like his colleagues, couldn’t locate the golden touch. Needs to be more clinical in front of goal but put in an otherwise committed performance.
Son Heung-min 7.5/10
Sonny couldn’t find his shooting boots and had ample opportunity to do so. He missed as many, if not more, chances than Kane. His volley from a brilliant Lucas Moura lobbed through ball was saved superbly by Daniel Bachmann. His late free kick provided Spurs with the decisive moment required. He also drew the foul that led to the late winner.
Lucas Moura 6.5/10
The Brazilian made a nuisance of himself and, with a sublime lobbed through ball to Sonny, created one of Spurs best chances of the afternoon. He wasn’t able to fashion many opportunities of his own, and will be disappointed he didn’t get more of a sniff on goal.
Harry Winks 6/10
Not much to say about Winks’ contribution off the bench.
