Midfield

Sergio Reguilon 8/10

Tottenham’s midfield had a proficient, if unchallenged afternoon. The Spaniard had his way down the left flank and knocked in numerous dangerous balls. He wasn’t under any duress defensively, allowing him to maraud forward at will.

Emerson Royal 8.5/10

Like his compatriot, Emerson Royal was Spurs’ standout midfielder. He was omnipresent, dangerous and ominous on the ball. Royal, like Reguilon, made numerous pinpoint crosses and made a nuisance of himself all afternoon.

Pierre Hojbjerg 8/10

Pierre and Oliver went about their business like it was a Sunday football league match. Palace couldn’t get close to either of them.

Oliver Skipp 8/10

Skipp grows in maturity with each and every passing match. He is learning a lot from Hojbjerg and is quickly becoming one of the Premier League’s best defensive midfielders. Now just needs to source some shooting boots.
