Tottenham player ratings in 3-0 win over Norwich
By Gary Pearson
Defence
Hugo Lloris 7/10
Made a strong save early to keep the match scoreless. The Frenchman also parried a dangerous cross but was otherwise untroubled. He made one terrible pass that Norwich couldn’t capitalize on.
Ben Davies 8.5/10
One of Tottenham’s best players in recent weeks, Ben Davies enjoyed another sterling performance. Davies’ header at the front post fell to Davinson Sanchez, who banged home Tottenham’s second from close range. Davies was solid defensively and showed positivity in possession, creating tons of space and troubling Norwich’s defence with numerous crosses. The Welshman was also influential in Spurs’ third goal.
Eric Dier 8/10
Eric Dier enjoyed another composed, safe match as Spurs’ central marshal. He is a man revolutionized under Conte’s guidance. Other than one poor touch, the Englishman played a near mistake-free match. If he can continue to cut out mistakes from his overall game, Spurs have every chance of continually climbing the table.
Davinson Sanchez 8/10
The Colombian, by smashing in from close range off a corner, scored his first goal since the 2018/2019 season. He made a few strong tackles and looked comfortable on the ball. He did cough up possession twice, but was safe otherwise.
