Tottenham player ratings in 1-0 loss to West Ham
By Gary Pearson
Oliver Skipp 7/10
Oliver did what was asked of him and performed adequately in the middle of the park. If he received creative and clinical help from his colleagues, Spurs would have at least mustered a point.
Pierre Hojberg 5/10
On of his rare off performances, Pierre had all sorts of trouble on the ball. He wasn’t able to find his passing boots and was slightly amiss all afternoon. Not a good game for it to happen, but Hojberg should be back at his dogged best for the next outitng.
Tanguy Ndombele 5.5/10
The most influential Spurs’ offensive threat, Tanguy made an incisive pass to Son in the first half, which the South Korean wasn’t able to capitalize on. Tanguy only threatened sparsely, though. He didn’t dictate the play like Spurs need their No. 10 to do.
Lucas Moura 3/10
Lucas was a ghost in East London on Sunday. He attempted a low probability spin-around shot that flew over and was otherwise a shadow of his normal self.
Son Heung-Min 4/10
While Son was better than Lucas, he didn’t impact the match like we’re used to seeing. Son had a weak effort on goal easily saved by Fabiański. Otherwise, he was a frustrated figure throughout.
