Covid results muddy projected XI for Tottenham Hotspur at Newcastle

Projecting the Tottenham Attack
There is the outside chance we have the Tottenham top attacking line back with Son, Harry Kane, and Bergwijn all potentially available. However, the Covid issues could really impact this.
Steven Bergwijn – Left wing
We start by noting that if he is available, Heung-Min Son will be the starter on the left-wing. If he is not available, we will see Bergwijn dropped back into the starting line-up. Now several weeks removed, versus several days, from his most recent injury, the Dutch attacker should be fit and ready for Spurs. Besides Son, Bergwijn is the most dangerous over-the-top threat that Spurs have and can hopefully hit the ground running in a game Spurs need to win.
Harry Kane – Center forward
Harry Kane has not been playing up to his normal standards and that form finally transferred to his play with the English National Team. Before this past break, Kane had scored in 15 straight qualifiers for the Three Lions but was held scoreless in his appearance for England. With it seems likely that at least some of Kane’s help being out, the talisman needs to step up and break his scoring duck.
Lucas Moura – Right wing
Whether or not Son is healthy is likely that Lucas Moura would get the starting nod. Moura was the team’s best player during the preseason and he looked sharp to start the season. However, Moura has not been able to maintain consistency. Against a Newcastle team that is struggling to defend, this should be a game for Moura and offense, no matter who is playing, to get back on track.
