Things going right for Nuno Espirito Santo at Tottenham Hotspur

Santo and Spurs getting Son they need
Son Heung-Min started the season at striker for Harry Kane and has since moved back to his more customary left-wing role. And with the exception of the two games he missed with a calf strain picked up on international duty, Son has been Spurs’ best player.
Leading the line Sonny was terrific, providing that pace and threat over the top that helped to stretch and field. Further, the talisman delivered for Tottenham, scoring twice in the first three games when he was the primary striker.
Since returning to wing Sonny has again gone back to being a major catalyst offensively. Son has three goals and two assists now and serves as the primary target for most of the long balls Tottenham plays. This past Sunday against Villa, it was Son leading the way.
This team is currently built too many of Son’s strengths and he is delivering what he can, which should be enough to have been shortlisted for the Ballon d’Or, but apparently not. We have seen without Son Spurs are sunk and right now, Santo is working to help make Son sing.
There are definitely lots of ways for Tottenham and Santo to improve moving forward but for now, they are getting a few things right.
