Tottenham on the right-wing
In Son and Lucas Moura, Tottenham has an incredibly strong one-two punch on the right-wing. Both players are capable of dropping deep to pick up the ball and then drive it up the pitch with the dribble. Both players can attack space over the top and are a threat to score.
Having them both in the side is in many ways a luxury as both can really play anywhere across the front three. However, with the return of Kane and the abundance of options on the left we will likely see a lot more of Lucas Moura in the non-league games and as a super substitute in the league.
Of course, this weekend coming up, Son may not be available, which would mean Moura starting up top with Kane, which has produced success in the past.
Behind Son and Lucas, there is Jack Clarke who apparently turned down loans to try and stay and fight for a place in the team. With as many matches as Tottenham will play and the injuries that are inevitable – like some the team is already facing – Clarke likely will get some opportunities in the Conference League or other competitions.
What he does with opportunities will be critical with two stars in front of him and some emerging talent on the other side of the pitch.
