Tottenham substitute and coach ratings

Surprisingly Nuno Espirito Santo and Tottenham Hotspur only used two substitutes on Sunday and one of the two really had a chance to play.

Lucas Moura – 6.5

Only had about 20 minutes to play but clearly showed he had the burst back, which was missing his last time or two out. Looking to dribble and attack, Lucas provided a nice change of pace when he came on.

Bryan Gil – N/A

The young Spaniard made his Premier League debut with a brief cameo appearance on Sunday coming in with about 2 minutes to go in the match. Shoed he is going to run whenever he is on the pitch. Given his obvious talent, he may be knocking at the door of some real league time after the break, particularly if Lo Celso is unavailable.

Nuno Espirito Santo – 7

It is hard to fault Santo for really anything at this point with three clean sheets and three wins to start his managerial adventure Tottenham. It would have been nice to see another substitute a bit earlier to help Tottenham step on Watford’s throat. They did not need that extra Sunday but could in the future. The overall organization of the team has been just terrific.
