Tottenham Hotspur player ratings from 1-0 win over Watford in EPL

Rating the Tottenham Offense
Overall, it was a disappointing day for the Tottenham offense. Outside some exciting moments from Son and one decent opportunity for Harry Kane the front three, like the rest of the team was pretty quiet on Sunday.
Heung-Min Son – 8
Heung-Min Son did a bit of everything for Tottenham on Sunday including score the only goal in the match. Watford used an extra defender in the middle of their back four by dropping their lone holding midfielder between their center-halves. This really cut the space Son likes to run into off of either wing limiting big chances for the South Korean superstar. Came through with the big moment once again showing his tremendous value.
Harry Kane – 6.5
Harry Kane did his part on Sunday, working to set up teammates and trying to find space for himself in the box. Ultimately, like with Son and Bergwijn, there just was not a lot of space for Kane to work within the final third. Even when he dropped deep, Watford would use a striker to pressure Kane which meant no extra space over the top for any runner.
Steven Bergwijn – 6.5
Like with Kane, Steven Bergwijn had a hard time finding the space to really get going on Sunday. Despite good ability in tight spaces Bergwijn just could not find the room to maneuver as he has in previous matches. Had both his shots blocked but passed well in limited opportunities.
