Tottenham Hotspur projected XI for preseason north London derby
By Aaron Coe
Closer to the starting defense for Spurs?
With players coming back from extended summer excursions, we are likely to be closer to the true starting back four for Tottenham this season. With all the minutes that Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga, and Cameron Carter-Vickers have played this preseason, likely the staff is excited to get Joe Rodon and Davinson Sanchez on the pitch.
Sanchez may concede to Romero when the real bullets start to fly but for now, both he and Rodon need minutes.
On the outside, we can expect to see more Sergio Reguilon as the Spaniard continues to work on his form. On the right, we are likely to finally see Serge Aurier get an extended runout, after a cameo midweek.
The biggest question for Tottenham is who is going to play keeper. Will Hugo Lloris finally make his debut or is the Frenchman may be on the way out at N17. With only a year left on his contract, surely Lloris is thinking about his future. But for now, his future is in London and he starts versus the archrivals.
So that is our projected XI for Arsenal, who do you think is going to get the call on Sunday? Who do you want to see play on Sunday and why?
