Tottenham Loan Decision – Jack Clarke

Jack Clarke is kind of in the same boat as Ryan Sessegnon as a player with just a lot of others in front of him. Clarke was signed two seasons ago as one of the last signings of the Pochettino era but has not appeared close to the first team in the time since.

Clarke is another player that needs playing time and experience in the worst way. One benefit Clarke does have is that he does play right-wing primarily and for whatever reason Spurs just keep signing left-wingers. As a naturally right-footed player, Clarke can get to the end line and make that cutback cross.

However, more often than not we have seen that Clarke has lacked the physicality to handle the play high up on the wings at the top level. A loan to a League One team or maybe to the Championship would serve Clarke well, above all the young man just needs minutes.
