Harry Kane’s Euro 2020 contribution yet to be decided

Tottenham’s talisman has endured a difficult start to his Euro 2020 campaign. The Englishman has yet to score, though he showed promising signs in England’s most recent encounter against the Czech Republic.

Kane is confident of peaking at the right moment in Euro 2020. With a gargantuan Round of 16 test against Germany on the horizon, Kane will have his work cut out to make this a tournament to remember. Though nobody should write off one of the world’s most prolific strikers.

Hugo Lloris should reach quarterfinals

Spurs’ captain has experienced an up and down tournament thus far. France has conceded three goals in as many matches, two of which dispatched by Cristiano Ronaldo from the spot. The Frenchman caught Danilo in the head while attempting to clear a threatening cross. It was a certain penalty, but at least Lloris showed commitment and bravery in the challenge. It was, however, quite reckless.

Lloris’ France should have enough to get by Switzerland and book their place in the quarterfinals, where they would face either Spain or Croatia.

Though Lloris will need to be much better if France have any chance of progressing to the semifinal and beyond.
