Forwards and formation

This could be Harry Kane‘s last match in a Tottenham shirt. Saying that aloud causes a cocktail of putrid emotions to rear their ugly head. He is level on 22 goals with Mo Salah and can, with a goal or two, lock up his third Golden Boot during his illustrious time at Tottenham.

Dele Alli underperformed midweek and should lose his spot to Tanguy Ndombele, who hasn’t started since Mason took over. We all know Dele is one of Mason’s favourites, but surely the Englishman, based on performance alone, must make way for the unused Frenchman. Let’s hope to see Tanguy on the team sheet. Otherwise we know nepotism is well and truly taking prominence during the interim manager’s rein.
