Tottenham Center-halves vs Favio Silva

With both Pedro Neto and Raul Jiminez out injured for Wolves, it is likely up to Fabio Silva to lead the line. Silva is just 18 years of age but has gotten over 1,000 minutes in the league this season. Silva got an assist for the tying goal last weekend against Brighton.

Silva is a willing runner and he used that to go with and cross into Adama Traore who finished to tie the score. Traore was on the wing and the interchange between the two will be difficult for Tottenham to deal with.

If Ryan Mason continues to stick with his preferred defensive pairing of Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld, the Spurs may be in trouble. Fabio Silva is going to bring pace and energy to the game, using little short passes and flicks to try and turn the Lilywhite defenders and get into space.

Can Tottenham keep up with the young legs?

As a young striker Silva is not great at holding up the ball and then distributing. Tottenham needs to take advantage of that and be prepared to jump on the opportunities to recover the ball that Silva will present. If Tottenham can keep Silva on the back foot and scrambling to defend, they have their best chance of neutralizing the young Portuguese attacker.
