Coach and Substitute Ratings

Mourinho brought in two substitutes late to try and swing the tie. Then Harry Kane limped off in injury time.

Moura – N/A

Lucas Moura was lively and played the ball in that led to Harry Kane’s second goal and the match finishing all square. Moura did what he does which is play hard all the time, something more players need to do.

Lamela – N/A

Speaking of playing hard, Erik Lamela did that and the Argentine got the ball in some good positions but lacked that final bit of quality to make a play.

Alli – N/A

Deli Alli Came on in injury time for Kane, just long enough to get his name in the book, did not touch the ball.

José Mourinho – 5

Set up his team in a way to win but continues to be let down by his players’ ability and their fitness. Mourinho controls the fitness and should not have allowed it to get to the point that it is. As for the ability to make simple passes consistently and run with your man and not commit dumb fouls, well you can point the finger at whoever you want. Appreciate Mourinho staying above the Paul Pogba fray in the post-match interview.
