Defence

Hugo Lloris 5/10

Had no chance on the first two goals and made a couple of key saves but will be disappointed not to stop Dinamo’s winner.

Eric Dier 2/10

Maybe the R and E in his last name should swap spots. That’s all I have to say about his abject outing. Absolutely no passion whatsoever from the out-of-sorts centre back.

Serge Aurier 2/10

Was just as horrendous as Dier. Serge didn’t get nearly close enough on Dinamo’s opener, and barely stuck a foot out on the home side’s winner. Not nearly good enough, though he has just come back from a nagging injury. That reason doesn’t excuse his poor performance.

Davinson Sanchez 5/10

Davinson was the best of a dismal Tottenham rearguard, but still wasn’t anywhere near good enough for a European contest of this importance. Made a couple of great tackles while almost inadvertently knocking it past his own keeper on a slide tackle.

Ben Davies 4/10

Made a few key clearances, but wasn’t nearly tight enough to his man on Dinamo’s equalizer. At least he showed some passion. He tried to rally the troops on numerous occasions. But his quality let him down.
