Full XI and Big Substitutes Bench

Tottenham have a strong yet still rotated starting XI to help finish the job against Dinamo Zagreb.

Despite the two-goal lead, if it is not increased by half-time do not be surprised to see some big names come on the pitch to try and finish the match. While the preference would be to see more of Dane Scarlett or Jamie Bowen, odds are we will see

Tanguy Ndombele

and Lucas Moura. That said, seeing any of those four and not Harry Kane is the ultimate goal on the night.

With coverage, depth, emergency, and opportunity all in mind, Mourinho brings a diverse and mixed bench for the match. Joe Hart and Alfie Whiteman sat the pine last week and do the same Thursday. Additionally, Sergio Reguilon, Davinson Sanchez, Serge Aurier, Matt Doherty, and Marcel Lavinier provide additional defensive cover. That may seem like a lot of defenders to bring and it is, but with injuries and availability, it is about making up the numbers.

Overall the midfield depth is still a bit thin, particularly with Højbjerg out, so we get Ndombele and young Jamie Bowen as back-ups. Then we have a number of players to contribute to the attack, led of course by Harry Kane. Besides Kane, we have Moura, Bale, and Dane Scarlett.
