Tottenham Midfield Ratings

Tottenham had some rotation in the midfield as Harry Winks was back in the starting line-up with Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. The pair did well to defend and protect most of the match and moved the ball much quicker in the second half as Tottenham ramped up a notch.

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg – 7.5

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg was back in the grove for Tottenham on Sunday against Palace. The Dane has that step on the Eagles players that allowed him to step in multiple times and win several tackles. Three tackles, an interception, and solid passing made for a sound performance from Højbjerg.

Harry Winks – 7

Harry Winks was a decent compliment to Højbjerg on the evening. The ball did not quite move quick enough with Winks in the first half, but the pace picked up in his 25 second-half minutes. Was the neat and tidy Harry Winks we have come to expect, which seems to be the ceiling these days, but it was good for Tanguy Ndombele to get 90 minutes of rest.
