Tottenham player ratings against Fulham: Hugo Lloris star of the show

Midfield
Tanguy Ndombele 6/10
Silenced for most of the match, Tanguy had trouble finding creativity in this one. That’s a testament to how well organized Fulham were. He was strong defensively but didn’t offer Spurs much going forward, hence his lower rating.
Pierre Hojberg 8/10
Did his job, as expected. The Dane wasn’t outstanding but kept Fulham at bay, and deserves a lot of credit for doing so. Probably the quietest 8/10 rating you’ll see. But his display showcased exactly why Hojberg was brought into this Tottenham team.
Gareth Bale 5/10
Touch was a bit off and ballooned over on a free kick. Wasn’t quite at his sharpest, making for a largely ineffective outing. Struggled with the pace and physical combativeness of the match, a true litmus for the Welshman, who still has some work to do.
Son Heung-min 7/10
So good on the ball, Son drives and dummies defenders at will. He set up Dele for the opener and could have scored minutes later from a shot he flashed wide. The South Korean is still wasteful in front of goal, missing a solid chance on a header setup by Dele’s excellent cross. He just needs one to find his scoring touch. Like the rest of the attack, endured an ineffective second half.
